This is a really great book, I especially recommend it for beginners or people that are new to running, both male and female.There is a great section regarding Couch to 5k and also some information on race day tips and even a useful section on tapering. Even if you are intermediate or advanced its still very resourceful . Nell also talks about how she achieved her first ever sub 3 hour marathon which is a very difficult barrier to break. She is also a big fan of training twice a day which I totaly agree with. This is a very useful way to increase weekly mileage volume without causing to much fatigue. A really great book and available on Amazon for around £12.
